The Campaign Loop
How it works

From first battle to galactic dominion

I
Create a Campaign
GM creates a campaign and shares an invite code. Players join and customise their Crusade force — colours, emblem, faction.
II
Submit Orders
Each strategic turn, forces submit one order — Advance, Assault, Consolidate, Resupply. The turn window closes and all orders resolve simultaneously.
III
Fight Battles
Contested systems trigger battles. Play them out on the table and submit the result, or let the simulation algorithm resolve it.
IV
Build Legends
Honours, scars, and territories accumulate. The campaign has no fixed end — the galaxy is the story.

Everything you need to know

A free, browser-based Crusade campaign manager for Warhammer 40,000. It replaces spreadsheets and paper tracking with a persistent galaxy map where your forces move, fight, and build legends across strategic turns — all synced in real time between players, between every game session.
Yes. The app is built around 10th Edition Crusade rules — unit datasheets, Battle Honours, Crusade Relics, Battle Scars, and Requisition points all follow the current ruleset. 28 factions are supported with 821 units in the catalogue.
Up to 20 players per campaign during beta. The GM creates the campaign and shares an invite code — players join at any time. There's no minimum; you can run a two-player narrative campaign just as easily as a 12-player league.
Nothing. It runs entirely in your browser — desktop or mobile. Create an account, create or join a campaign, and you're in. No app store, no downloads, no plugins.
28 factions are currently supported, including all major Space Marine chapters (Ultramarines, Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Space Wolves, Black Templars, Deathwatch), Chaos factions (Chaos Space Marines, Death Guard, Thousand Sons, World Eaters), Tyranids, Orks, Aeldari, Drukhari, Necrons, T'au, and more. NPC Tyranid, Ork, and Chaos forces also appear on the galaxy map.
The GM opens a strategic turn with a configurable time window (e.g. 48 or 72 hours). Each player submits one order: Advance into adjacent systems, Assault enemy-held territory, Consolidate to fortify, or Resupply to recover Sector Control. When the window closes, all orders resolve simultaneously — contested systems trigger battles, which players then fight at the table and report the result.
Completely free during beta, no payment details required. When paid plans launch, players will always be free to join campaigns. Only GMs who want to run campaigns will pay — a single subscription for the person who organises the group. Beta users will be grandfathered at a reduced rate.
